Integrate GPU with Module Downloader

First Look

You will need to have a computer with Nvidia GPU, should install CUDA, CUDNN, and use Module Downloader Window.
The AugeLab Studio Module Downloader is a tool that allows users to check for and download external module files and packages necessary for specific functionalities and features in AugeLab Studio. This documentation provides a detailed guide on how to use the Module Downloader efficiently.

Getting Started

  1. 1.
    Open AugeLab Studio: Launch AugeLab Studio on your computer.
  2. 2.
    Access Module Downloader: To open the Module Downloader, navigate to the top menu and click on "Window" -> "Module Downloader."
  3. 3.
    Using the Module Downloader: The Module Downloader window provides the following functionalities.

Checking for External Modules

  1. 1.
    Check Available Modules: Click on the "CHECK EXTERNAL MODULES" button. The Module Downloader will check for available external module files and packages.
  2. 2.
    Info Text: This section displays information about the found module files and packages, including the number of files, their total size, and the number of missing packages.
  3. 3.
    External Package List: The list of external packages (if any) that need to be installed to use specific features.

Downloading Module Files

  1. 1.
    Download Module Files: Click on the "DOWNLOAD EXTERNAL MODULES" button. The Module Downloader will start downloading the necessary module files.
  2. 2.
    Log Area: The log area will display the progress and status of the download process.
  3. 3.
    Progress Bar: The progress bar indicates the completion status of the download process.
  4. 4.
    Downloading Packages: After downloading the module files, the downloader will start downloading the external packages required for various features.
DO NOT stop module downloader when the download process is ongoing.

Pip Installer Process

  1. 1.
    Pip Installer: The Module Downloader uses pip installer to install the downloaded external packages.
  2. 2.
    Process Log: The log area will display the progress and status of the pip installer process.
  3. 3.
    Restart Studio: After all downloads and installations are complete, restart AugeLab Studio to apply the changes.

Log Output

  1. 1.
    Log Area: The log area displays all messages and progress information related to the download and installation processes.

Module Downloader Status

  1. 1.
    Module Files: The downloader will indicate the number of module files found and the total size of the files.
  2. 2.
    Missing Packages: If any external packages are missing, the downloader will display the number of missing packages.

Downloading and Installation Progress

  1. 1.
    Progress Indicator: The progress bar indicates the completion status of the download and installation processes.
  2. 2.
    Text Updates: The downloader will display progress messages for each downloaded module file and package.

Closing the Downloader

  1. 1.
    If you close the downloader while the download or installation processes are running, the processes will be terminated.
  2. 2.
    After completing all downloads and installations, restart AugeLab Studio to apply the changes.
