Basics

For the basics, you'll learn how to use function blocks, connect and move around the scenario.

First, please download the video below.

After downloading the video, get back to the AugeLab Studio, drag-and-drop the Video block from the blocks bar:

After dropping the Video block, click on Select Video File button inside the block and load the video:

Then, click on Real-time to disable real-time streaming of the video.

It's time to use our second block. Go to the Detections/Shapes section in the block bar and drag-drop the Image ROI Select function block:

Upon dropping the Image ROI Select function block, you'll see that it's an empty function block:

To see the image and define a reference, we'll have to connect these two blocks together by clicking on the Image socket of Video block:

Then, move the cursor to the Image socket of the Image ROI Select block and press left mouse:

Now, go to menubar and press Run Step button to see each frame:

Now, as shown below, we'll encapsulate the golf ball by clicking-dragging and releasing the cursor, defining the ROI(Region of Interest):

Our scene already seems full, in order to move around the scene, press on the middle mouse button:

In order to zoom-in and zoom-out, use your mouse wheel:

Very good, now we have learned most of the basics to create a scenario, you are ready to move on the detection page.
